Try your current files: free immersive audio file checker

Drop any audio or video file to see what is inside. Play ADM and surround mixes in a 7.1.4 room, compare Eclipsa Audio in stereo and binaural, and run a free quality check.

What it does

  • See what is really inside. Container, codec, channel layout and declared spatial metadata, read straight from the file structure.
  • Listen the right way. ADM, Dolby and surround mixes open in a 7.1.4 room with live objects and beds. Eclipsa Audio and ambisonics get a stereo versus binaural A/B.
  • Run a quality check. Integrated loudness, true peak, clipping, DC offset and silent channels, with a report you can download.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The check, the players and the quality check all run inside your browser. The only download is a one-time decoder for rare formats, and your file never leaves your device.

Which files can I check?

Over 50 audio and video formats, including ADM BWF, Eclipsa Audio (IAMF), WAV, AIFF, CAF, FLAC, MP3, AAC, Opus, MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AC-3, E-AC-3, DTS, WMA and DSD.

Why do some files open in a 7.1.4 room and others in an A/B player?

ADM, Dolby and surround mixes are built for speakers around the listener, so they open in a 7.1.4 room. Eclipsa Audio and ambisonics adapt to the device, so the useful test is comparing the stereo fold-down with the binaural headphone render.

Why is there no player for my stereo file?

A stereo file has two channels and no positions, so there is nothing to place in a room. That is exactly what the Spatializer for Music changes: it separates the instruments and places each one in 3D.

Can it see Dolby Atmos objects inside an E-AC-3 or TrueHD file?

No. Those objects can only be decoded by licensed Dolby decoders, so the browser plays the channel bed. Check the ADM BWF master instead to see every object move.

Is the loudness reading certified?

It follows ITU-R BS.1770 and is accurate enough for spotting problems, but it is not a certified meter. Confirm delivery numbers in your mastering tools.
