Download the headphone version of your mix
Get a binaural file that keeps the 3D effect on any pair of headphones.
You will need
- A finished Spatial9 project
- A free Spatial9 account
Steps
Step 1 of 5: Open your Workspace
What to do: Sign in and open your Workspace.
What you should see: A list of your projects.
Why this matters: Every project you have made is kept here.
Need help? Empty list? Make a project first with the "Make your first immersive mix" guide.
Step 2 of 5: Open the project
What to do: Select the project you want to download.
What you should see: The project player opens with your mix.
Why this matters: Downloads belong to a project, so you open it first.
Need help? If the project shows it is still processing, wait until it finishes before downloading.
Step 3 of 5: Find the download option
What to do: Look for the Download or Export option in the player.
What you should see: A list of formats you can download.
Why this matters: Different places need different files. Headphones, YouTube and studios each use their own format.
Need help? Ask Niner "Where is the download button in my project?" if you cannot find it.
Step 4 of 5: Choose the headphone version
What to do: Choose the headphone or "binaural" version.
What you should see: The download starts. Your browser shows the file as it saves.
Why this matters: "Binaural" means the file keeps the 3D effect on any normal headphones, with no special app.
Need help? Downloads usually go to your Downloads folder.
Step 5 of 5: Check the file
What to do: Open the file on your device and listen with headphones.
What you should see: It sounds like the mix you heard in Spatial9.
Why this matters: A quick check before you share it saves surprises later.
Need help? If it sounds flat, make sure you are on headphones, not speakers.
You have a headphone (binaural) audio file saved on your device.
